A Little Thing Called "Blog"

Hello All,

This is my first blog and I am excited about getting started! My name is Laurie Davis and I am the owner of Lulu Jewelry Boutique. I started this blog in an effort to connect with my customers and share some insight into who I am and what I do. In future postings you can expect to see articles on all things related to jewelry.

I started making jewelry a few years ago for myself, family and friends and just recently decided to turn it into a business. The name Lulu comes from a nickname I got while in college. I waited tables at a popular Mexican restaurant in my town and was always flying in and out of the wait stations and leaving a mess in my wake. A girl I worked with said it looked like a hurricane had just came through....Hurricane Lulu! This eventually was shortened to Lulu, but the name stuck, and I actually kind of like it!

Please stop by my website at http://www.lulu-jewelry-boutique.com/ and take a look at my designs. The jewelry I make is made with Sterling Silver, Czech Glass Beads, Swarovski Crystals and Pearls, Gemstones and Lampwork Beads. Don't forget to check back often as new pieces are continuously being added.

Happy Blogging and Beading!
